The Master of Fine Arts program at Accademia dell'Arte provides in-depth training and practice in performance broadly defined as physical theatre.
Rooted in the spirit of the Commedia dell'arte and its ethos of the actor/creator, the curriculum combines a high level of technical training for actors while preparing them to devise and create their own performance style. The curriculum presents a spectrum of approaches and influences from a distinctly European perspective.
The ultimate goal of the program is to launch students into the world as confident, creative and autonomous artists with a strong aesthetics sensibility that unites the wonder of performance with a genuine search for human meaning.
