Accademia dell'Arte has a modified rolling admissions policy. This means that it is important to apply early as some programs fill prior to their stated application deadlines. We must receive all pieces of your application in order to process it.
PLEASE NOTE: Semester Music and Dance Program application procedure requires submission of supplemental materials by July 1, 2010. Details are outlined in the application packet A. For further information or questions, contact info@dell-arte.org.
Also, ONLY Muhlenberg and Goucher students applying for the Spring Dance Program ARE NOT REQUIRED to submit supplemental materials.
Notification of Acceptance:
Upon submission of all the documents required for Packet A, your application will be reviewed by our staff and a decision will be made. If necessary, we will forward the application to Italy and/or our supplemental materials consultants for approval and processing.
Within two-four weeks, our US office will notify you of the admissions decision.
If you are accepted, you will be asked to confirm your place by submitting forms for
Packet B1 (student visa forms) as outlined in the acceptance letter with a confirmation deposit of 10% of the overall program you are participating in. The confirmation deposit will be applied toward your program cost and is non-refundable except under specific conditions outlined in our financial policy. Please note: Summer Arts Students DO NOT NEED TO SUBMIT PACKET B1.

Summer Arts Students still need to send 10% of the overall program cost to our US office to secure your place, eventhough you are not required to send a B1 Packet.
Please note: A housing security deposit will be required for ALL PROGRAMS by PERSONAL CHECK for a total of 150 USD made out to the Accademia dell'Arte and must be presented on-site in Italy at orientation. This is refundable, less any damage fees, after your program.
Deadline for B2 packets:
July 1, 2010 for the Fall Semester
Dec. 15, 2009 for the Spring Semester .
May 1, 2010 for the Summer Arts Program

UCI Summer Session I 2010: Application must go through the University of California, Irvine at
www.summer.uci.edu/travelstudy/italy.
The Accademia dell'Arte does not accept and directly enroll students for this program. All correspondence, payment, enrollment and credits will be given through the University of California, Irvine.

Accredidation for the Graduate Program
The Master of Fine Arts in Physical Theatre is offered by Mississippi University for Women in cooperation with Accademia dell’Arte. Students must be admitted to the graduate program at MUW prior to enrolling for courses leading to the MFA degree.
Mississippi University for Women is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, GA 30033-4097: Telephone number 404-679-4501) and is authorized to award Associate, Bachelor and Master degrees.
